Great News! AHEC Received Providership for Nursing Education.
AHEC
received notification from the California Board of Registered Nursing
it has been approved as a Continuing Education Provider (CEP) for
nursing education.
This
allows designation of continuing education contact hours for qualified
CE courses for our nursing clients. Nursing approval is available for
AHEC's ultrasound, bone densitometry, radiation safety training courses
(*required by some states for bone densitometry and operation of
fluoroscopic xray equipment), and designated home study courses for
fulfilling general continuing education requirements. In the near future
there will be a navigation tab on the left side on the home site
courses approved for Nursing CE.

AHEC Medical Accreditation.
AHEC is accredited to provide AMA PRA Category 1 credit for physicians. Additional approvals through ACEP, AAFP, and ACOG give another level of approval for physicians who require special recognition.
